Terms of Service

Acceptance

By using Smelt ("the Service"), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

The Service

Smelt provides AI-powered model compression recommendations and tools for open-source large language models. The Service includes a web dashboard, model recommender, and cloud compression capabilities.

Accounts

• You must provide a valid email address to create an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account.
• One account per person. Shared accounts are not permitted.

Subscriptions and Billing

• Paid plans (Pro, Team) are billed monthly via Stripe.
• You can cancel at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the billing period.
• Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis.
• We may change pricing with 30 days notice.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for illegal purposes.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or hack the Service.
• Abuse the API or exceed reasonable usage limits.
• Resell access to the Service without permission.

Intellectual Property

Compressed models you create are yours. The Smelt platform, branding, and compression algorithms are ours. Open-source models are subject to their respective licenses (Llama, Qwen, etc.).

Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranty. We are not liable for data loss, model quality degradation, or any indirect damages arising from use of the Service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account for violation of these terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting support@draftlabs.org.

Changes

We may update these terms. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
